Moondream is a splendidly restored farmhouse with great atmosphere that
sits on a round hilltop mid way the charming villages of Montepulciano
and Cortona and not far from Lake Trasimeno and Chiusi on the green and
sunny Tuscan-Umbrian border countryside. Extremely comfortable and
filled with artistic touches, the house is decorated in a colourful
blend of contemporary furniture and antiques, and filled with luxuries:
Moondream is the dreamed villa for everyone. Ideal location for
families riunion and anniversary. The property consist of a a main
villa with luxury sleeping rooms all with en suite bathrooms and
dining/breakfast area with open kitchen. About 80 mt far the annex with
a large living and dining room with kitchen that opens into the garden
and pool. There are shady outdoor sitting and dining areas attached to
both the house: The numerous porticoes allow al fresco dining in a
fresh and natural environment. The pool is set into a large lawn, with
endless views of a gently rolling landscape. There is something to
please everyone in this area: villages and castles to explore, a lake
for boating and windsurfing, wineries and fine foods, a selection of
world class golf courses, and even a semi-annual jazz festival.

INTERIOR: The main house has two storeys. Ground floor: large
breakfast/dining room with open fully equipped kitchen with fireplace,
storeroom and service bathroom. On ground floor , with independent
entrance 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Every 2 rooms on
the ground floor communicate with each other . A large external stone
staircase leads to the first floor with 2 double bedrooms each having
en suite bathrooms with shower and a suite with double bedroom in the
mezzanine and living with third bed. One of the ground floor bedrooms
and one of the first floor ones have a splendid imperial style tub.
Just 80 metres away is the annex including a laundry room, a service
bathroom and a large living room with dining area for a large table.
PARK: The farmhouse is entirely surrounded by a garden with lawns and
flowerbeds of about 10.000 sq mt.
SWIMMING POOL: Open from April 28 to October 6, the pool measures 6 x
12 mt, with the depth varying from 1.20 to 2.40 mt. It is located about
20 mt from the house and is fully equipped with 2 gazeboes, deckchairs,
tables and chairs and an outdoor shower at the poolside. |

| The
villa has a strategical location to visit the hearth of Tuscany and
famous cities like Siena, Arezzo, but also Perugia, Assisi, Lake
Trasimeno and Rome. It's only 20 minutes driving from the motorway exit
Chiusi or also Valdichiana. The villa faces on one side on Tuscan hills
and on the other side on Trasimeno lake. Just south of Siena is Val
d’Orcia, with its enchanting landscape, celebrated for its gentle
sloping hills and the beautiful hamlets of Montepulciano, home to the
wine which bares the same name, Pienza and Montalcino, home to the very
prestigious grapes which the Brunello wine is born from. Lake Trasimeno
is one of largest lakes on the Italian peninsula and certainly the most
stunning.
The farmed fields slope downwards until reaching the shore of the lake.
Nearby are imposing medieval ruins and fortified castles.
From the dry land you can reach the lake’s three islands: Maggiore,
where there stands a battlemented castle, Minore and Polvese. A holiday

fish and those who love sailing will find Lake Trasimeno to be their
natural paradise. You can also enjoy the small delightful cities such
as Castiglione and Passignano which overlook the beautiful lake. Among
