Umbrian border which overlooks towards the neighbouring gentle hills of
Tuscany on one side and of Umbria on the other. The tranquil and simple
exquisite beauty of Umbria and southern Tuscany border is incomparable:
green, verdant rolling countryside still retaining a rural unspoiled
element that we find irresistible. Lake Trasimeno has some of the most
untouched sought after locations in the region, fabulous views of
gently undulating hills, shimmering mirror lake with its glass like
surface, temperate weather and softly changing seasons make for year
round comfort. This elegant villa has unbroken views of this
multicoloured panorama of pastures, cultivated fields and rolling
patchwork hills with silvery olive groves. The main hall and living is
very spaciuos and perfect for entertaining with its large table, sofas
in front of the fireplace and beside pleasant yet well equipped kitchen
is beside. Big archways made of cotto brick and sturdy local stone
separate the living areas offering a cosy and charming atmosphere.
Outise the porch with beautiful views across the romantic hills is very
well equipped with gaden furniture and tables to eat outside for dinner
al fresco.

famous cities like Siena, Arezzo, but also Perugia, Assisi, Lake
Trasimeno and Rome. It's only 20 minutes driving from the motorway exit
Chiusi or also Valdichiana. The villa faces on one side on Tuscan hills
and on the other side on Trasimeno lake. Just south of Siena is Val
d’Orcia, with its enchanting landscape, celebrated for its gentle
sloping hills and the beautiful hamlets of Montepulciano, home to the
wine which bares the same name, Pienza and Montalcino, home to the very
prestigious grapes which the Brunello wine is born from. Lake Trasimeno
is one of largest lakes on the Italian peninsula and certainly the most
stunning.
The farmed fields slope downwards until reaching the shore of the lake.
Nearby are imposing medieval ruins and fortified castles.
From the dry land you can reach the lake’s three islands: Maggiore,
where there stands a battlemented castle, Minore and Polvese. A holiday
